Vol. No.:  Enter Edition Name

Big up to Peerless, Crush Media, Street Vision, Shed of Free Love Fridays and everyone that we hung out with last night at Wine Down Wednesday @ the Woodward. While were're in the plugging mood, we're gonna keep things rolling with our shameless plugs this week.

Plug#1 - The Aces Program is looking for volunteers to teach ACT/SAT Prep, English and math courses to 7th – 12th grade students this summer. All classes are taught by young professionals as a way of giving back to the community. The program continues to show strong successes each semester, with many students earning admission and scholarships to colleges of there choice. If you want to make a big impact on youth this summer, contact Jeron Campbell at (313) 506-3677 and check out www.educateall.org.

Plug#2 - Please vote for Ike Love and Kontact to be the next voices of Detroit. It's easy, all you have to do is log on www.hot1027detroit.com and the key word being "hip hop idol" on the home page in the search bar. Vote TODAY!

The social calendar is filling up this weekend. How is yours looking?

Many parents try to do all they can for their children. Some shower their children with love. Some lavish their kids with gifts. One gift that is sometimes overlooked is the gift of a financial head start. Saving for a child’s college education can potentially help them avoid facing a heavy debt burden upon graduation, as they enter the work force. There are lots of financial vehicles availble that allow you to not only save for your child's future, but also provide you with some tax releif.

Please let everyone know that the legendary "C.T." (Carl Thomas) had his third album released on June 5!! It's really chill and classic C.T. I'm lovin it even moreso than R.Kelly's "Double UP"!! - HC
